Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology & Science is an An ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institution and pioneering rural Engineering College in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana. The Institution was sponsored & Established by Jayanthi Educational Society In the Year 1998 with the Approval of AICTE New Delhi and the Govt. of Telangana. It is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad .

:: Hostel ::

The Institution has well furnished separate hostels for both boys & girls. The boys Hostel with a capacity to accommodate 200 students is located in the campus of the Institution. The Girls Hostel is located in Mahabubnagar.

The Hostels are well managed under the supervision of the Management and Principal. The day to day's affairs of the boys Hostel are managed by the Warden. The Girls Hostel is managed by an experienced Matron. She looks after day to day affairs the discipline and welfare for the inmates of the Girls Hostel.

Additional accommodation was provided by constructing Second Floor of the Boys' Hostel. A separate dining hall was also constructed during last year. Canteen: A Canteen is provided in the institute premises to provide quality and nutritious Tiffins and meals for day scholars and staff members at a reasonable cost.

The hostel facility is provided in the college premises for the boys and for girls in the Mahabubnagar Town.

SVITS QUEST

One day National Level Technical Contest (SVITS QUEST) is conducted on 24th February 2019 to bring up the talent of engineering students. This event is being jointly organized by all the departments of the institution.
